A website is blocked unexpectedly.
Open Blocks and check active rules, exceptions, daily quotas, schedules, and session limits. Check Focus for a running session or keyword rule. More than one rule can apply to the same page.
My browsing time looks different than expected.
Lume uses the active tab, window focus, inactivity, and audio activity to measure time. Private browsing pages are excluded. Check the date and site in Overview. If something looks wrong, send the expected time and the steps that led to it.
How do I connect another device?
In Settings → Cloud Sync, use the same pairing code on both devices and grant the Firefox data permission when prompted. Keep the code private. If sync fails, check the connection and permission; your local data remains available.
How do I delete synchronized data?
Use Settings → Cloud Sync → Delete Cloud Data. This removes the group’s cloud payload, devices, and tokens, while keeping local data. Turning sync off does not delete data already uploaded.
How do backups work?
Export or restore a backup in Settings. Backups contain readable rules, preferences, and history. They exclude your PIN secret and sync credentials. Keep the file private and export a current backup before restoring another one.
Why does Lume open when I create a new tab?
Lume replaces Firefox’s new tab page with its focus dashboard. You can manage the extension in Firefox’s Add-ons and themes page.
A social distraction control is not working.
Check the options in Social and refresh the affected page. These sites change frequently. Send the site, the control you enabled, and your Lume and Firefox versions so we can reproduce the problem.
I have a question about protection or my PIN.
Describe which setting is locked and what you are trying to do. Never include your PIN, a backup, or a pairing code in your message.
